The Office of International Relations, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is sharing that Techfest, the annual science and technology festival of IIT Bombay, will be held from 22nd to 24th December 2025. As one of the largest events of its kind in Asia, Techfest offers a wide spectrum of international engagement opportunities.

Outlined below are the key areas for international participation:

1. International Competitions: Techfest organizes global competitions in areas such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Fintech, and Hackathons. Students can represent their universities or participate individually. Please have a look at the Competitions Overview.
2. Robowars: One of the flagship events, teams design combat robots to compete in a secure, bulletproof arena. Institutions with active robotics teams are especially encouraged to participate.
3. International Zonals: Techfest is open to conducting zonal competitions in your country in collaboration with a student-led or tech-promoting organization. Winners would qualify to participate in Techfest IIT Bombay, while your university or organization gains visibility as a regional hub for innovation. Proposal for International Zonal.
