The KU-STAR (Kyoto University Short-Term Academic Research) Program for Australia 2026 is now accepting applications!
KU-STAR Program, Kyoto University Short-Term Academic Research Program, aims to open the door to research opportunities for undergraduate and master’s students from a given country who have a strong desire to pursue a doctoral program at Kyoto University.
KU-STAR Program for Australia 2026 offers undergraduate and master’s students at a college or university in Australia a unique opportunity to gain hands-on research experience at Kyoto University from 8 January 2026 to 20 February 2026. Participants will work under the guidance of leading faculty members, immerse themselves in a new academic and cultural environment, and build valuable skills and connections.
