Meet KU Researchers, a special video site for attracting international graduate students, is now available.
Kyoto University Division of Graduate Studies is working to strengthen its public relations and recruiting activities in order to attract world-class, excellent international students. As part of these efforts, we have created a new video site to introduce KU’s researchers to prospective graduate students and to promote matching.
This year, we have completed videos for 17 researchers that we approached individually on a trial basis, and we will continue to produce videos to introduce more laboratories in the next academic year and beyond. If you are interested in accepting international students speaking English, without requiring Japanese command, we would be very grateful to make a movie of your laboratories.
We outsource the shooting and editing of the video, and bear all costs associated with the video production. The completed video data will be posted on the special video site and will be given to the laboratories so that they can make use of it by posting it on their websites, etc.
