We regularly host students from the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and beyond, who join us for a semester or a year to pursue academic credits across the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and interdisciplinary programmes, while gaining deep exposure to India’s social and cultural context.

Ashoka University welcomes students from international institutions across the globe to experience the university’s unique academic offerings through the Visiting Student Programme. Under this programme, students can spend a semester or full academic year or a summer at Ashoka. The programme is open to students from partner and non-partner global institutions. It is specifically designed to foster the exchange of ideas between the undergraduate students of international institutions and those at Ashoka.

Summer Courses at Ashoka – 2026

The Office of Global Education in collaboration with the Office of Summer Programmes at Ashoka University offers an intensive 6 -week summer courses, during the summer for undergraduate and post-graduate students. This is an in-person programme. A range of 4-credit courses are offered across various disciplines. Students can take up to 2 courses during the summer semester.

Summer Research (Ashoka International Summer Research Programme – AISRP)

The Ashoka International Summer Research Programme (AISRP) provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate and master’s students from both partner and non-partner international universities to engage in cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research at Ashoka University.
