The HIRAKU Three Minutes Competition is an exciting opportunity for doctoral
students to effectively explain their research within a limited timespan of
three minutes, using language that is accessible to a non-specialist audience.
The Competition aims to the doctoral students’ presentation and research
communication skills, while also fostering greater public understanding and
appreciation of doctoral research and researchers.

On the competition day, November 22, approximately 20 doctoral students selected
through rigorous preliminary screening from across Japan will take the stage at
the Hiroshima Convention Hall for the finals.
This event offers something for everyone: undergraduate and master’s students
considering doctoral studies, current doctoral students seeking inspiration and
motivation from peers, and more. We warmly invite you to attend.
